We are a Danish venture studio - an execution machine that builds, accelerates and scales tech ventures through one framework: the good engine.
01 What is TGC
The Good Company Lab was established in 2025 and brings strategy, tech, marketing and business development together in one model. We are not an accelerator, not an agency and not an investment fund. We come in as operators - we take equity, not just hours - and we build with founders, not from a boardroom.
We work in four ways: we build our own ventures, we accelerate external teams, we screen pipelines for investors, and we scout promising projects in university and founder environments. Everything runs through the same engine - same discipline, same cadence, no matter where the idea comes from.
02 Why we exist
We are passionate about startups, projects, teams and new projects that need to be launched - and about the challenges that have to be solved along the way.
When investors back a startup, they provide capital, experience and a network. But they rarely provide a team. They do not provide the day-to-day execution. They do not provide the hands that do the building.
That is exactly where we step in. We provide the engine and the people who take ideas from concept to product to standalone company. And we do it by one principle: fail fast so you can do good things faster - we kill weak ideas early and save time and capital for the strong ones.
03 The people behind it
We are not MBAs who just found a pitch-deck template. The team brings together decades of experience across tech, business development, marketing and product - from both our own companies and large organisations. We have carried the responsibility, delivered, and learned from what went wrong.
That cross-disciplinary execution power is the core of TGC: strategy, tech, marketing and business gathered in one team that shares the same mission - to build things that can fly. Behind the team there is also a dedicated external development team that can run and maintain larger systems over time. And when a task calls for specialist knowledge, we draw on external experts in our network for advice and guidance in select areas.
04 Integrity
We say yes to the projects we believe are right and meaningful - and we say no to many more. Strong potential is not enough on its own; it has to fit our identity and the value we want to create.
Just as important: we do not work with just anyone. The people behind a project mean everything. We go for decent people we can build with over time - not just a good case slide.
That is why we have brought an external coach into the engine, who does a thorough analysis of the people and the team before we really get going.
The analysis gives us a shared language for strengths, roles and dynamics - so we know how to work together as well as possible, match people to the right tasks, and build strong teams before we scale. It is not a one-off snapshot, but something we keep using throughout the whole process.
